David Brauner, Senior Broker and President
Insurance agent David Brauner is principal of OREP and publisher of Working RE magazine. He has been involved in E&O insurance for real estate appraisers and home inspectors for over 20 years. He founded OREP/Working RE in 2002. He graduated San Diego State University with a degree in Journalism & Political Science and a minor in English. David is active in his church, where he is an Elder and member of the choir and praise band.


Isaac Peck, Vice President
Isaac Peck is the Vice President of Operations and Marketing at OREP and the Editor of Working RE magazine. His passion is providing service professionals and small business owners with unrivaled professional support, risk management, and liability insurance that meets their unique business needs. Isaac brings 10 years of experience leading teams in Professional Liability insurance underwriting, operations, technology, and marketing–with a focus on E&O insurance for real estate professionals. He is a Certified Microsoft Technology Associate, and holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting.


Brian Crosco, Senior Agent
Brian has over 11 years of experience in the insurance business as a Commercial and Personal Accounts Manager. He is in his second year at OREP as a Senior Agent. Brian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Ashford University. Every day he is motivated to provide outstanding service as he finds solutions for the needs of his clients.

Maria McCarthy, Senior Agent
Senior insurance agent Maria McCarthy has been in the insurance business for over 25 years. She has been an insurance agent/underwriter at OREP over 15 years. Maria manages the home inspector portion of the book and currently underwrites the home inspector program within OREP’s quoting authority parameters.


Michael Meza, Senior Agent
Insurance agent Michael Meza is in his 10th year at OREP. He oversees the individual appraiser book. With a background serving in the United States Military, Mike runs his part of the business with precision and with a calm and friendly demeanor that is appreciated by everyone he helps and who works with him.


Julia Merigan, Senior Agent/Underwriter
Julia Merigan is in her sixth year at OREP and is the Senior Agent/Underwriter leading OREP’s programs for Appraisal Firms, Real Estate Agents/Brokers, Mortgage Field Services and other outside markets. She received a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Marketing from UC Riverside. She enjoys her free time watching her son play baseball, cooking, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.


Lisa Cavanaugh, Senior Agent
Senior Agent Lisa Cavanaugh is in her 5th year with OREP. Lisa assists our Appraisers and Real Estate Agents with their coverage needs. She enjoys working with our insureds to make sure they have prompt and professional service with a smile. Her background includes working for a small environmental inspection company owned by her family and she understands the concerns of small business owners well.

ArianeAriane Herwig, Marketing & Design Manager
Ariane Herwig is the Marketing & Design Manager at OREP. She is approaching her third year with OREP. Ariane develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives across different channels and business segments, leads print and visual design, and operates as the Assistant Editor of Working RE Magazine and Working RE Home Inspector. She received a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from UMBC. Ariane also runs an independent Graphic Design business and serves as the Branding Committee Leader for The WFCRC.

VeronicaVeronica Calderon, Accounting & HR Manager
Veronica is the OREP accountant with over 23 years’ experience in small-business accounting and bookkeeping.
